What are the MS rules for selling MS Office OEM? Here is clarification on when you CAN sell Office 2007 OEM?
1. When installing on a new system which we are building and selling
2. When sold to an end user who has a office ready trial installed on a new system, not more than 90 days old
3. When sold to a New System Builder supplier
4. When sold and installed by us for a customer upgrading or repairing a system, where we have sold them a motherboard at the same time
So to confirm, you CANNOT sell OEM to a customer wanting to buy office for a system which is more than 90 days old!
They will need Retail or VLK
Hope this helps! MS Office is also available from Total Computing at competitive prices with the right advise to ensure you get the right product!
